FIDE is committed with saving and efficient use of electric energy for the improvement of the environment, for this reason shares at a continental level its experiences and values developed for this purpose.
Actually, agreements have been developed with institutions such as the National Commission of Electric Energy of Guatemala (CNEE), BUNCA Central-America, PROCOBRE Latin America, the College of Engineers of Costa Rica (CFIA), the College of Engineers of Honduras (CIMEQH), the College of Engineers of Ecuador (CIMEPI), and the Pan-American Confederation of Mechanical Electrical Engineers (COPIMERA).
In particular, support requests are being attended from Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Cuba, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Dominican Republic and Uruguay.
At an institutional level, FIDE have collaborated on the conformation of the Energy Savings National Programs, of the National Commission of Electric Energy of Guatemala, the Electricity Institute of Costa Rica and its subsidiary the National Company of Power and Light, as well as the Industry, Energy and Mining Ministry of Uruguay.
On this context, FIDE proposes through the participation with the National Energy Institutions, and with the support of banks and international mechanisms, to export the FIDE Mexican Model with the aid of national consultants and by promoting the products with FIDE Label, offering an improvement package with success results on the short term. |
