Up to September 2007, FIDE executed 25,917 energy diagnoses, and concluded 3,899 electric energy saving projects, which have generated direct savings of 13,191 GWh in energy consumption and 1,566 MW in power, not considering the daylight savings.

With the above mentioned measures, it was possible to avoid the burning of almost 25.35.million barrels of oil and the emission to the atmosphere of over 8.8 million tons of CO2.

In the Program of Finance for Electric Energy Saving, credits of almost 5,000 million pesos were granted for the application of close to 800 thousand measures of electric energy savings.
