Additionally, FIDE has provided technical assistance to other countries, for the development and application of energy efficiency programs and projects, in keeping with directives of exporting the Mexican model with support of international banks, in order to promote Mexican manufactured goods, with the FIDE label, and design and execute energy saving programs and projects among the different  consumer sectors in the Latin American region, all of it with participation of Mexican consulting  and engineering firms.
