This award is granted by the Federal Electricity Commission, promoted and administered by FIDE, an event that has taken place since 1990 as an encouragement to consumers for their commitment to attain greater energy efficiency in their installations.

To date, 176 companies have received from the President of the Republic the National Electric Energy Saving Award, in its twelve editions, for the projects they carried out.

Presently, the winners of the XIII National event are in the award granting process.
