For promotion of energy savings and encouragement of the efficient use of electric energy culture, FIDE attends four strategic sectors, which are:  industrial, commercial, municipalities, as well as the small and medium companies.

In the first place, it supports specific projects in the reduction of unnecessary electric energy consumption in the premises of the productive sector and in municipal services, through technical assessment and by financing the application of corrective measures and new saving technologies.

Results obtained from the start of FIDE's activities to date, are shown on figure 5.
